Doesnt feel the same

Hi guys,
hope somebody might be able to help me on this.
I drove my car[100bhp tdi] to work yesterday and all felt fine.
On my way home I just didnt think the car felt the same but just couldnt put my finger on any specific reason.
It just doesnt feel as responsive or as smooth as It had previously felt that morning.
To me the car previously seemed to give anice wee boost early in every gear even at low speeds and I just dont think it is performing just the same as it did but as I said before I just cant pinpoint or explain exactly what I mean other than it just feels a bit different.
Any suggestions more than welcome.
The car has 63k on the clock with a full vw history and felt absolutely fine up to yesterday.
