I Want To Come Back!!

Morning all!

Well, after wrongly selling my beloved B5 Turbo Sport and 3 cars later I've decided that I want to rejoin Passat ownership, just got to sell my current car to fund the new one. I want another B5 but I have a couple of questions:

B5's seem to of dropped in value in recent years, can you really get one for under a grand?

I think I could end up getting the 1.8 non turbo (altough would have another turbo), should I be worried about high mileage, say 120-140k? What kind of mileage do these engines run to? I know with the turbo models the oil can become sludgy, I'm guessing this doesnt happen as much on the non turbos?

I know the usual things to look out for, cambelts every 60k, waterpumps, water ingress, MAF's, anyhting else to watch out for on the non turbo models?
