BOOT NOT OPEN WHEN PRESSING BOOT RELASE

Hi hope some1 can help i cant open the boot using the switch above the reg plate but it will open with the key, just been to fill up and found that the button for the filler cap relase wouldnt open either nor the leccy windows, when i got home i checked the fuse and found #14 fuse had blown, replaced it and everything works except for the boot relase, ive taken off the cover and found the unit that opens the boot catch and checked to see if everything is connected and it works if i pull the relase bar so im wondering if the celonoid has blown which would have blown the fuse??

has anyone else had this problem?
