ahhh help... fuel flap won't open!

Went to fill up with fuel this morning before work, pressed the button on my b5.5 and nothing happened.

Tried a few different key positions to make sure I wasn't missing a trick but nothing worked.

There's obviously still power there as the light was on.

Is there an easy fix, going to need to get it open today or tomorrow else I'll be getting stuck lol.

Any help/advice welcome!
