However, I am awaiting a replacement kit but trying to remove the broken one is a hassle. I removed the rod end easy enough but the part of the rod going into the steering rack is near impossible!
I have looked in Haynes that mentions a lock nut holding the swivel end of the steering rod in place but trying to undo the lock nut in situ beggars belief. There is no way to fit spanners in having cut away the flexible gaiter unless some one knows of a more simple approach
Any help would be appreciated.
