I've had a few handbrake issues over the years and it's always been on one side, even more so since buying a refurbished caliper! This time the same side has broken again but the splined shaft that goes into the caliper snapped!! Anyone had this before??
Anyway I've bought a new genuine TRW caliper and motor this time in the hope it lasts.
I always do the new pad procedure when fitting a new caliper or pads in vcds, so a bit miffed why it snapped if the system knew its limitations....
