Well as previously posted I’m having issues with my electrical system and although I’m still a bit concerned my alternator has an issue, my auto spark that looks after my taxi checked the Passat and has said the battery is definitely gubbed.
Therefore, first step, new battery.
Now I can get a battery obviously easy enough and can fit easy enough but have just come across some info saying that it will need to be registered to the car.
Car is a 2010 B6 highline estate, 170bhp CBBB engine. NOT start/stop.
Can anyone confirm for me if this will or won’t need to be done?
I have access to a VCDS cable if required.
Any advice mucho gratefully received
