B6 front [candle] lights - options?

The front dipped lights are completely driving me crazy in the dark short days.

I have 55W HID kit, even replaced the bulbs, and still no good. Even some old fiesta outshines it quite considerably.
Standard halogen is plain invisible.

Would I gain anything by installing something like Bevinsee V45 H7 LED Headlight Bulbs High Low Beam 22000LM 120W 6000K Bright Lamp

Or failing that do I have any option to get B7 front retrofit? If so how many bit would I need changed? My front wings are badly rusted so will need changing anyway.

I would think my B6 should easily have some 3 more years of active service in it, particularly if I get cambelt done shortly. It is a pretty high end late 2009 DSG estate so not your average ones. Eventually I may go for a similar spec B8, and equivalent AUDI or some SUV.
