Seems a few have posted a similar problem to mine where the remote key loses open/close functionality but can be restored using the jiggle key to open the door then press a remote button again. At least til the next time it happens!
Now I seem to have a jiggle key lock issue where it will always lock when used, but not always open. It does trigger the switch inside as the interior lights come on when it’s used but the doors remain locked.
Due to this I can’t get my spare keys working on the car again.
So question is, has anyone else experienced this with the jiggle key opening function?
I’m wondering if I have a faulty lock or something else causing it.
The remote key is definitely sending a signal as sitting inside the car pressing it will generate a radio-type hiss noise from the glovebox area.
Any advice welcomed.
