Instrument panel/CANBUS failure on 2011 Passat CC
Fitting a new Android head unit to my 2011 Passat CC. Had it all working but something has happened to cause all the car instrumentation to fail. Get no display on MFU, no rev counter/speedo, analogue clocked has stopped and no power to head unit. Plugged in a basic OBD reader and get a U1055 code (Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module). Have checked all fuses so assume there's been some failure in the car electronic modules. Any tips on how to diagnose what has failed would be very welcome!
