Cruise Control Retrofit Cable

Hi all,

I've been reading some of the posts on here/Google in relation to retrofitting CC into a B6 Passat and have seen suggestions that the CC cable is present on 'some' Passats while in others it isn't.

I have a 2008 March TDI Sport (BKP) and I'm really hoping the cable is there to avoid having to route a cable through. Is there a way to know if the cable's there based on the model/year?

I've been looking for something like "all Sport models 2008 or newer will have a cable" but cannot find any such reference. If not I guess the only way to find out would be to actually dismantle and look?
