App-Connect USB location - on 2016 CC

Hi guys,

I have a 2007 Passat Estate that i've just fitted an MIB2 (Discover Media) head unit into. I'm looking at putting the Apple Carplay / Android Auto enabled USB faceplate into the armrest, but the faceplate is too large for the aux-in 'hump' in the armrest of the later B6 cars.

The CC's came with this newer MIB unit from about 2015/2016. Does anyone have a CC with this fitted, and can tell me where the USB port resides?
