Auto hold not working, clutch position sensor?***SOLVED***

2008 2.0tdi, auto hold function has all of a sudden stopped working. Using the diagnostics laptop can see that the switch still works when depressed, however the led does not light up. Is there any common issues with the auto hold function?
Noticed that the clutch position sensor reads ‘33’ when not touched, when fully depressed reads ‘216’
Does that sound right for the pedal in the released state?
