Even this morning when the car was covered in ice the boot popped open with no trouble.The only thing that worries me, are these new struts only going to last a couple of years before the same thing happens?

Over the last few months, the boot has got a bit lazy opening. Now that it is starting to freeze up, even here in Brighton!, the boot needed to be lifted to open it fully. I reported this at my last sevice and now have nice shiny new gas struts fitted under warranty! Even this morning when the car was covered in ice the boot popped open with no trouble.
The only thing that worries me, are these new struts only going to last a couple of years before the same thing happens?
