The engine management lamp on my Passat has just come on and the car has gone into limp mode.
It happened as I was accelerating up a very steep hill.
The car has previously been running great, it has only recently done 30,000 miles, and was services just two weeks ago.
I have no idea about the technical side of the car.
Can anyone suggest the best way froward, if this is a common fault, what the cause might be, likely cost??? I need the car working as we are both disabled and rely on it completely.
help or advice would be much apprecaited
