Having problems selecting 1st gear most of the time now. It has done it occasionally over the last year or so but over the last couple of days has gotten worse. All other gears select fine. Clutch appears to clear fine. Exactly the same with the engine switched off. Seems to be quite notchy in neutral when attempting to get 1st. Even when it will select it its not clean. Just wondering if theres any wearing parts that are common? Maybe gearchange cables stretching? Definitely seems like a linkage problem rather than clutch/gearbox.
