I have an odd issue with my 2006 Passat. Basically when ECON is selected off the air flow slowly dissipates but the fan speed continues. It’s as if it’s internally recirculating. I’ve left it like this for some time with no change. I’ve checked fuses, and there is 13v at the low pressure sensor. I’ve also charged the system. Not overly sure if the clutch is engaging or not...however if I select ECON back on it returns to working normally but for a short period I get colder than ambient air flowing as if the compressor has been running. It doesn’t matter what selections are made while ECON is off no air flows from any vent. Anyone have any suggestions?
