Hi all
So in common with a lot of b6 owners the alarm siren has stopped working throwing the 01143 vcds code for no signal on my 2007 140 TDI sport.
I ordered a flea bay Chinese copy and fitted yesterday but now have 00323 no signal to inclination sensor and 00135 no signal to interior monitoring sensors along with the previous 01143!
I have opened the original siren and it has the interior battery leakage problem but could be repaired Imo
Is it possible to find the varta battery or equivalent?
I have not yet opened the Chinese copy to see what's inside (if anything) but have ordered a used genuine siren from a b7 that looks the same and will change the battery if I can find one
BTW I also have a 2001 b5.5 with the original siren and double the mileage with no problems...
I have had a refund from the Chinese seller but it's a pain as it took nearly 2 months to arrive!
