Fuel Cut Off Inertia Switch ?

Post by Tannachy »

Does the B6 have an inertia fuel Cut off switch ?
I have a 2005 2.0 TDI ( think it's a B6) It has been dry stored for 6 years. Put a new battery in and it started 1st time, and was idling perfectly. Repeated a few times and seemed fine. I then tried to move it, but brakes were seized and she stalled. Now it won't start at all. Engine turns over, with a tiny bit of smoke from the exhaust, but won't fire up.
I wondered if the jolt from stalling may have activated a fuel cut off switch or something. I know some cars have them, but does anyone know if the Passat does ?
Any info or suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks.
Andrew.
