The Mrs took the B6 to work today, it seemingly got to her place of work with no problems. It then suddenly threw a bit of a wobbler, and wouldn't lock on the remote.
From what she has told me, when the key is inserted the yellow steering wheel light comes on and the engine won't turn when pressed in further.
A quick internet search suggests a steering lock fault, and this can immobilise the car. But should it also prevent the car from locking? The battery hasn't hinted at having problems holding a charge, it started first thing this morning with no drama.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
