B6 estate dog cage

Hi
I have a b6 estate 2006, would like to buy a cage suitable a medium size dog (collie). All the ones I've seen online are full width and take up most of the boot! Does anyone have any alternative solutions? ie that use one side or are shaped. So I can still put a pushchair, wellies, kids toys etc etc in the back?
