Headlight Switch & Battery Drain

Hi,

I’m new to the forum, got myself a 2009 2.0tfsi sport estate last month.

I’ve been working through some of the common BWA engine weak points and loving the car so far.

2 weeks ago I replaced my battery after getting a funky light display on my dash, was cranking a bit slower at startup too. I had a headlight bulb go last week, closely followed about 2 days later by a flat battery.

Battery was flat again this morning so I did a volt drop test across all fuses. I’m getting up to 3.5mv across fuses F47 & F48 which I’ve read are related to the headlights.

From a quick search there doesn’t appear to be a relay in this circuit, is the headlight switch most likely the issue?

Any advice most welcome...!
