First "technical" question post
.I'm transferring my front & rear dash cams (Nextbase 212's) from my previous car into my 2008 B6 1.9 TDi estate
These were hard wired into additional 12V sockets (cigarette lighter sockets in old money!). Powered when the ignition came on.
I only collected the car yesterday afternoon so haven't had time to rummaged about finding the fuse box and I haven't got a Haynes manual or similar yet. Any suggestions on the manual gratefully received. Is there a full "VW" disk/download that has everything in it?
She does have a towbar with electrics and I believe there's a power socket in the boot. Maybe I can feed the rear one from there?
Suggestions on which electrics to link into and how to remove the necessary interior bits gratefully received.
