About 6 years ago I had an awesome b5 afn along with 12 b5 passats for breaking (some of you may remember). Have since had an a3, now kids force the need to purchase an estate. A4 has limited rear leg room and seriously pricey for the year. So returned to looking at passats. Must be diesel, leather and estate,ideally bluemotion.

Was thinking about the 2.0 bluemotion. Have read about updated 100mm oil pump...how is best to get a seller to check this? Would it be on certain years/chassis nymbers?
