H7 / HID bulb adapters

My car is late 59 highline model. I believe they might use a slightly different holder than earlier versions
Currently it is running with [badly] modified / drilled stock holders. I can't put a stock bulb back in it for an MOT bar some bluetac
, and to be honest they don't even always stay in place with the HIDs, and only take all plastic ones.

After buying a little kit of metal clips that said for B6 but won't fit I am little concerned.
Does it look like it would be right fit for both halogen and HID? Any alternatives if not? Thanks.
