B6 tailgate handle

Anyone know the part no for 2007 b6 estate tailgate handle the one with the micro switch

Should be the same as the saloon

3C5827469C or D

Microswitch available separately is 1K0962103.

Do you mean the outer handle, that is to say the rubberised pad that sits between the number plate lights?

If so, the whole assembly is part number:

1T0827574J

or

1T0827574L

(there appears to be no difference between the two).

NB. On the saloon the handle is built into the VW badge.

I stand corrected. It's technically called the 'Grab Rail' and incorporates the microswitch which does not appear to be a separate replaceable part whereas the saloon has a badge 'handle' with the mechanism built in as you say but replaceable microswitch. Part numbers are as you have listed therefore.
