Puff of smoke....

Hi guys,
I have had my B6 (2010 Highline+ 140 Diesel) for about 18 months now with no problems but have noticed a couple of times recently a puff of white or grey smoke from the exhaust while driving.
It doesn't seem to be when accelerating, the last time I was halfway round a big roundabout so may have accelerated slightly but was basically staying the same speed...? Also, it doesn't seem to be losing oil or water.
It has a DPF so presume this stops the general black plumes of smoke you see with some diesels when accelerating...
Could it be the EGR?
