Aircon delay

I am having problem with my aircon now, for some reason it won't blow cold air for like 10 min then is working fine, also notice that it will blow cold as soon as engine temp goes above 80c, now I have seen few threads that is down to bad air con compressor solenoid but before I tackle this could engine temp would have anything to do with it?

Not expert on AC so need your help.
