Heater problem

Post by peteb1951 »

Car is 2009 B6 2.0tdi highline 140bhp 71k standard aircon fitted
On starting with the heater (set at 22°) it blows warm/hot within 5 mins. But once engine reaches indicated 90° (oil temp showing 80°) the heater slowly starts to run colder and needs turning up. ,(Hotter the engine, cooler the heater)
On long run heater can be hot but only when set at the full 28°, anything even slightly less than this blows cold air?
Economy still ok, no loss of fluid and not overheating. Any ideas what's going on?
Being advised of everything from thermostat sticking open, faulty temp sensor??, Coolant air lock and clogged pollen filter
