In the long saga of suspension component failures the steering rack is giving up. Car is scary and dangerous to steer right.
It a '59 plate Highline estate. Without removing it I can only see "PMG 7805501470"
The catalog is giving me a list of codes 1K2423055K 1K2423055KX 1K2423055J 1K2423055JX. Obviously it's a 3rd generation rack as opposed to most older B6 Passats.
I'm obviously looking at used market - ideally one with lower mileage - as car isn't worth that much now. ebay search for these codes is only mainly giving Caddy rack 1K2423051CP for whatever reason??? PMG code gives a lot of very different results.
Could you help me with the codes or the search please? Thanks.
