2007 B6 front screen taking ages to clear

Hiya

First of all nice to see all these people sharing knowledge and information about the Passat.

My issue is a minor one (i hope) but my front screen takes ages to clear is this normal or is there something i should be looking at? I'm not really a car head etc they tend to just take me from a to b but in the cold weather even with the AC on and heat on full the screen takes ages to clear and doesn't take the moister away from the screen.

any help would be great
