Disconnecting battery, does it need radio code?

Post by cfcorp »

Hi,
Im going to disconnect the battery on my 12 CC, as i am working with its EPB motor. My VCDS lead stopped working and i am waiting on a new one.
I dotn want any EPB lights so I am going to disconnect the battery and wind the epb back with my 12V battery pack so I can change the pads.
I also want to avoid cracking the eob motor off the caliper.

My question is, will my rns315 need a radio code after i reconnect the battery?
I needed to enter it on my 05 B6 for the (chinese) RCD510 when i disconnected the battery.

The crux is that i dont have the radio code card.
Is there any free generators i can use or anything I can do first?
Thanks guys
