Hello all, I've recently become the owner of a 2008 2.0 TDI 170 CR SEL DSG estate, My first VW in over 40 years of driving. Have worked my way through most of the posts on here and gather to do everything I need VCDS, is this the correct thing https://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCV23.html Was watching some on e-bay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Ross ... 1438.l2649 Which appears to be the same, but sold for more than the new one from Gendan! is this just because some people are thick? or is there a difference?
The car has done 122000 and today it went into limp mode three times, stopping and restarting solved it, and it is fine at the moment. Plugged my Gendan fault code reader in but it couldn't find any fault codes, will I stand more of a chance with the Ross tech vcds?
