RNS 510 Radio navigation upgrade

Hello everyone

I have a VW Passat 2.0 TDI 2005 (B6), with the following radio navigation system :

I think it's RNS 510
Part #: 1T0 035 680 B
HW: H02
SW: 0800

The problem is my unit does not read SDHC cards and DVD mp3 CDs as well, that's why I'm thinking about upgrading it, but I don't know wich firmware update is recommended for my Navigation system?

I already have downloaded the 5238 by josi but I couldn't give it a try until I'm sure it's compatible and won't cause any crashes.
