Weird noise from engine bay

Hey guys wondering if you can help with a small problem im getting on my Passat 2.0 TDi 140
I keep getting a MIL and when i check the code its a boost pressure not expected. I can here from inside the car what sounds like a whoooo'ing noise when on the turbo, if i open the window i cant reallt here the whooo but i can here what sounds like a whooshing noise, possible boost leak
Anyone know or had the same issue ?
