Came home from work and couldn't lock the car with the remote - assumed it was the battery so changed it for a new one.
This didn't work, when I press the buttons a red led flashes on the fob but doesn't lock or unlock. Also tried a new battery in the spare with the same result.
I've tried removing the plastic internal key and locking / unlocking manually (which in itself is a bit hit and miss) and all I get is the hazards flashing for a time. No alarm siren mind.
What's worse is that now neither key will start the car!
Does anyone have any ideas? Any advice gratefully received!
