EPB Module question

Hi newbie here, needed a question answered on this subject if poss. I have an EPB fault which is no power at driverside caliper thus the brake does not come on, luckily I'm still able to use it. My question is this when scanning this module via obd it comes up as 3C0.907.801.G but the actual module ends with B??? Want to replace the module but don't know whether to order a B or G? Could it be a B module with updated software?? Passenger side still works fine. Have tried a new button but no good
