Rear door won't open

Yesterday my OSR door stopped working, so won't open from the inside or outside. The child lock is on so I think it might just be an outside handle issue.

I'm pretty sure there's no easy fix for this but has anyone got any tips? Is it possible to remove the door card when the door is shut?

Just to make things more awkward, I've just noticed my mot has now run out x_x
