TDi 140 Injector loom removal.

Now then chaps. I need to get my injector loom out as it appears that could be the problem with my injection system. I've removed all the necessary gubbins but am a bit stumped as to how to physically remove the loom. There appears to be a circlip with two tabs on the multiplug, one is obscured in the photo........ but should it be removed? rotated. Pressed in or what?
Has anyone done this and if so can you point me in the right direction.
