I've just this morning picked up a well used 2008 2.0 TDI SE B6 estate, and whilst wishing to spend as little as possible I need to put bluetooth in it, both for handsfree phone use and to stream from Spotify.
The car is fitted with a factory stereo, an RCD300 I think. I have a nearly new Pioneer DEH3900BT which will do what I want, and ordinarily I'd have no issue fitting this, however a quick search of the net comes up with all sorts of can bus related issues.
So, in simple terms, what do I need, bar a fascia adapter to fit a standard aftermarket head unit such as this Pioneer?
