Hesitation/misfire 140 BHP 2.0 TDi BKP Passat

Post by Bravemeister »

Hi,

First post on here.. Looking for some advice regarding a Passat B6 2.0 TDi 140 BHP BKP engine ('56 plate)

It has recently started hesitating/juddering for a split second when cruising along at maybe 30-35 Mph in third gear doing approx 1800-2250 RPM. I took the EGR off yesterday and gave that a good clean (wasn't too bad to be honest) but it is still doing it. The engine Idles absolutely fine and when you put your foot down has no issues and pulls like a train.....

It had a service in November and according to the sheet the fuel filter was changed, however I reckon that there is a lack of fuel being delivered to the engine at this speed/load point.

Have any of you come across a symptom like this before..?

Kind Regards

Matt
