Steering feels notchy at low speeds

Hello!

Not sure if it's a common fault with the passat but the steering doesnt feel smooth. When travelling a low speeds and turning onto my drive I have to steer in late therefore turning the steering really quickly, which feels juddery. It doesn't feel like anything mechanical steering wise though. It doesn't feel smooth unless turning the steering wheel at a normal speed which obviously feels fine thru my arms.

Any thoughts or anyone had the same issue!?
