Can a cecm module be swopped out on the b6? or does it contain the immobilizer info thus not so easy.
Reason I ask, have a mate who has a scrapyard so whenever he gets a passat in gives me a shout to see if i want anything, hes got a 10 plate passat in, which he claims (not confirmed) that has a 3C8 937 049 AB cecm module, I know thats a highline module, havent checked what I have (need to run vcds) was wondering about changing, if its straight forward.
