VW emissions fix done (please don't ask me why... Right now I can NOT come up with a decent answer)
About 2 months on now and engine management light has come on.... Along with the annoying "bong.... Engine management workshop"advise
EGR failure?.. Booked into vw for Mon 27 March (soonest) have told them I will want a courtesy car.... Will say I want notification of any work BEFORE they do ANYTHING.....So much coincidence, never a problem like this before, I usually use independent specialist dealer for maintenance... Let VW at the car one time.. and now this.
Other option could be remap and EGR/DPF delete... Though not certain on current and future Mot revisions on such.... Also Mot is due and scheduled end of this week... Is check engine light an immediate failure?....
Should I even give VW an opportunity to make good, basically I want a goodwill gesture fix... But have little trust left now....... Opinions welcome..
