I am picking up a 2006 B6 Passat 2.0 170 manual in a couple of days which has been remapped and dynod to 202 hp.
The turbo skips a beat under heavy acceleration and I have been advised to return to standard map. Not a problem, I have contacted many tuning places about this. However, the car has had the EGR blanked off and deleted out in the current map.
My question is, has anyone re-instated an EGR valve after having it blanked off a lots of time/miles? Do you see any significant problems with this at all/ had anyone had experience of this?
