Central Locking Problem
Hi i have a 52 plate 5 door 1.9 tdi passat estate. I had a problem recently where the rear drivers side door wouldnt open or unlock from inside or out or when fob was pressed. I took the door to bits and even unbolted the hinges and finally managed to release the door. Now the problem is since removing the mechanism my alarm wouldn't stop going off and central locking + electric windows are dead. I have ordered a new mechanism but until then i have wedged a screwdriver inside the door to keep it closed. My question is will everything work again once the new mechanism is connected? Thanks
