retrofit mfd /mfsw

This morning I browsing second hand passat parts and saw a cheap mfsw stearing wheel with air bag .
now I know I also need a new control module for my low line, maybe a air harness ! Although I'm unsure about that I'll be upgrading from the s stearing wheel (not the 3 spoke)

While I was browsing I read that when upgrading the stearing wheel you might as well upgrade the instruments to a full mfd (high line) .
I read that I need matching car instruments ie diesel and estate.
I don't believe that I'll have to do anything to pair it to the immobiliser but I'd have to find someone who could reset the clock milage to my real mileage which is stored in the ecu because it can't be done vcds unless the new instruments have already been zeroed

So who can reset the milage and is there anything else I need to be aware of?
