had the Passat TDI Highline estate,10 reg,for about 5 months now and quite pleased with it.Not as sure footed on the corners as my old Volvo V40 estate but I didn't buy it to go fast round corners so will live with this.
However , it has developed a very strange 'creaking' noise from the front end when turning the steering wheel at very low speed most noticeable when parking,can't hear it under normal driving conditions.
It's very like an old wooden boat creaking as the hull flexes.
I will have to get it checked out but just wondering if anyone else had experience of similar noises.
