Is the Chinese B6 and European B6 Passat the same???

Hi all,
I'm looking at some B6 Passat body styling parts from Chinese alibaba. I know that when it came to the B7 Passat the north American and Chinese versions of this became distinctly different cars to the European B7, but was the Chinese B6 Passat still identical to the European version B6???

Iv tried to research but can't find a clear answer.
