Advice for a 2.0TDi Passat CC buyer please

Afternoon All,

My first post and I'm looking for some advice on buying a used Passat CC (or CC as they are now known). I used to be a VAG man when I had a few VW's and Audi's, (Mk1 Golf Cabby, a B5 Avant 1.9TDiQ and a C5 A6 1.9 TDi) Then I moved to an Alfa 159, now I'm looking to move to a Passat CC.

I'm looking at two, both similar (if near identical specs) the only difference is one is a 2010 (pre-facelift on 75k) and the other a 2013 (facelift) with fewer (29k) miles and obviously a higher price tag. What would peoples opionin be? I'm a high mileage user (near 20k a year) currently so I'll rack up some miles on it. Do I go for the cheap higher mileage and take her to the moon (so to speak) or pay more, get the lower mileage and have 2 years extra life out of it.

Are there any descernable differences between newer and early models? Did they change the engines? Also what are the cambelt intervals and do they vary at all?
